How does Elite exclusivity work?+
We sell one Elite slot per neighborhood. Once a practice claims Elite in a given area, no other spa can buy that placement until the spot is released. Elite spots include top-of-page placement on every neighborhood and treatment page within that area, plus homepage featuring rotated against other Elite practices citywide.
What if a competitor is already Elite in my neighborhood?+
We'll let you know on the discovery call. If your neighborhood is already taken, we'll discuss adjacent areas, Premium tier, or waitlist for renewal. Elite contracts are typically annual, so spots do free up.
Can I cancel Premium anytime?+
Yes. Premium is month-to-month through Stripe. Cancel from your dashboard and your listing reverts to Verified at the end of the billing period. No cancellation calls, no retention scripts.
What does "verified" actually require?+
Active TMB licensure for the supervising physician, MD oversight on Schedule II procedures (per TMB Chapter 169), a Houston-area address, and at least 10 verified Google reviews with a rating of 4.0 or above. We re-check verification quarterly.
How is sort order determined for non-paid listings?+
Free Verified listings are sorted by Google rating and review count, pulled live from the Google Places API. We don't shuffle non-paid order to favor paying customers. Paid tiers (Premium, Elite) appear in dedicated featured sections that sit above the algorithmic list.
How is this different from Yelp or Google?+
Yelp and Google are general directories that auction featured slots in real time, often displaying 3+ "sponsored" results before any organic listing. We're Houston-only, vertical-specific (med spas), and we cap paid placement: Premium is a flat monthly badge, Elite is one slot per neighborhood. Patients arrive having already filtered for Houston med spas, not "anything within 20 miles."
